Below is an alphabetical list of the terminal services available at the Greater Moncton International Airport.

Before arriving at the airport, always check with your airline for information regarding check-in times and luggage requirements.

For information regarding proper travel identification and travelling abroad, please contact the Canada Border Services Agency and/or the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

There is an automated teller machine located in the central area on the main level of the terminal.

The machine is located along side the wall next to the car rental agencies.

At this time, the airport does not offer a currency exchange service.

The Walkers Investigation Bureau maintain security inside and outside of the terminal building including all parking areas.

These uniformed individuals are always available should you need assistance in any emergency.

If you have lost your luggage when arriving at the airport, please proceed to one of the airline baggage service centers located in the baggage claim area.

Need a boardroom for a business meeting? The airport can provide you with a boardroom which can accommodate a group of up to 20 people.

The room is available for a half-day (4 hours or less) at the rate of $75, or for a full day at the rate of $125.

Currently, 4 car rental companies operate at the airport.

Their information desks are located inside the terminal on the main level. Please contact them directly for more information.

Computer data ports are installed on telephones located next to the car rental kiosks and in the pre-boarding area.

The airport also offers wireless internet services.

Starting October 1, 2007, the Airport Improvement and Reconstruction fee (AIR Fund) will be collected on all airline tickets for passengers departing from Greater Moncton International Airport (GMIA).

The Greater Moncton International Airport boasts 4 departure gates.

The Relay store, which is operated by HDS Retail, operates a duty free kiosk at its Greater Moncton International Airport (GMIA) location during the winter charter season, February – May. HDS Retail and GMIA are very pleased to be able to enhance the commercial and retail experience of their international travelers.

The elevator is located in the central section of the terminal.

Passengers can use the elevator to access the second and main levels as well as the underground parking.

The airport food court, which offers services in both pre and post security areas, is centrally located on the main level of the terminal.

Its cafeteria style service offers a variety of hot and cold meals, including breakfast, snacks, beverages and desserts. Grab and go products are also available.

Snack and coffee vending machines are also located throughout the terminal.

For any article you may have lost in the terminal building, please contact the Greater Moncton International Airport administration at (506) 856-5444 between the hours of 08:30 am and 04:00 pm.

Items found can be brought at the information kiosk or to Airport Security located behind the information kiosk.

The Destinations Lounge, located in the public area, is accessible to passengers as well as non-passengers. Alcoholic beverages are also served in the boarding area for passengers only.

A Canada Post mail box is located on the main level at the departure doors.

The Greater Moncton International Airport offers a variety of parking facilities to meet all our customers’ needs. All parks operate 24 hours and are secured.

Public telephones are available in several locations throughout the terminal.

Relay offers a variety of print material from newspapers to bestseller books as well as a selection of snacks and gifts.

The airport's news store is located on the main level of the terminal opposite the St. Thomas Seafood shop.

The airport terminal offers a Rest Area room.

A defibrilator is available in the Air Terminal Building for emergency use.

Tourists love the opportunity to buy fresh lobster before heading back home. St-Thomas Seafood offers fresh lobster and shellfish as well as a variety of bottled seafood, spices and local gifts, including lobster cages.

Lobster can be packed on ice and brought with you on the airplane. St Thomas Seafood is located next to the restaurant. For information, please call (506) 860-6299.

GMIA's Non-smoking Policy is as follows:

1. Smoking is not permitted in any GMIA-owned facility; 2. Smoking is prohibited on all airside areas; 3. Smoking is prohibited within nine meters of all building entrances, windows, ventilation systems and in the underground parking at the air terminal building; and 4. Outdoor ashtrays will be moved away from building entrances.

This Policy applies to all employees, visitors and customers.

There are five teletypewriter (TTY) phones available in the Air Terminal Building.

The airport features a directory board with listings of local accommodations and restaurants. The board is located in the baggage claim area and offers direct phone service to all the listed companies.

The Welcome Crew Volunteer Program at the Greater Moncton International Airport (GMIA) has been in operation since May of 2001. The Program was created in order to assist our guests and therefore enhance their experience at the GMIA.

The Welcome Crew Volunteers are helpful, eager and enthusiastic individuals who have chosen to dedicate their own time to promote the friendliness and efficiency of GMIA. They are a vital part of the GMIA team!
