Persons travelling with disabilities


Alternative communication system, for example, TTY: There are five TTY devices
located throughout the terminal.

Assistance is available upon request for persons with disabilities in parking areas as well
as accessible washroom facilities.

Designated drop-off and pick-up areas:

If you are picking up or dropping someone off at the airport, there are designated areas located at the arrival and departure entrances in front of the terminal building. Please note that these areas are for immediate pick up or drop off only, and vehicles must not be left unattended. Short-term parking is available if you need more time for picking up and dropping off passengers.

Ground transportation: All ground transportation modes are private contracts. There
is no public transit at airport at this time.

Taxi contractor, Air Cab, has two vans capable of
wheelchair transport with lift. Although prior
arrangement may not be necessary, it will ensure
faster service since the vans may be on other

Pass to accompany passenger to the boarding gate: Temporary escort passes are
available from the airline concerned. Please advise the appropriate airline ticket agent.

Wheelchair or electric cart service: Airlines operating out of GMIA have wheelchairs
available for passengers.
